After completing his Law degree at the Antwerp University, Bart De Clerck has worked as a journalist for Belgian newspapers and television for over 10 years. Throughout his media career, port related matters have always been one of his specialties and Bart has since left journalism to set up his own Antwerp based communication company which focuses on crisis communication and media training.
Since 2008 he has been MTI's representative for Belgium and the northern part of France.
Since joining NATIONAL in 1995, Laurent has worked on many important issues management assignments for clients in both the public and private sectors, including Alcoa, the Quebec Provincial Home Builders Association, Bell Canada, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Loto-Québec, Maple Leaf Foods, the Montreal Metropolitan Community, National Bank, Provigo, QIT Fer & Titane and the City of Laval. He draws on his expertise to take an integrated approach to complex communications issues that involve several different components within a single organization.
Laurent also has a wealth of experience in projects that involve community engagement, customer service or other activities that may affect an organization’s good reputation.
